Project Solid Foundation

Project Solid Foundation was established to promote upward mobility in communities of color by highlighting the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a road to advancement.

Through Project Solid Foundation, youth receive information and learn strategies that facilitate success. The core tenants of this program focus on scholastic achievement, choosing the right college; preparation for the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) and/or American College Test (ACT); college application fee assistance; and assistance in finding
ways to finance a college education.

Project Solid Foundation can serve as a bridge to improve students’ quality of life and provide some parity for the future by exposing them to a program that is laser-focused on improving academic skills, setting educational goals, reinforcing concepts of personal responsibility, accountability, and building healthy relationships.
